Welcome to Spring’s Biggest Trend: Florals

And Three Ways You Can Wear it Now

The Spring/Summer 2016 shows were awash with so many gorgeous trends that we cannot wait to see go from catwalk to sidewalk as the weather heats up (fingers firmly crossed).

You have the romantic, cascading ruffles showcased at Mary Katrantzou and Holly Fulton and highlighter pinks, oranges and yellows that dominated the catwalks of Christopher Kane and Jonathan Saunders. Over at Topshop Unique feminine tailoring was the order of the day, by way of beautifully cut tuxedo jackets thrown over dresses made of delicate fabrics, beautifully cinched with a belt.

One of our absolute favourites trends, however, has got to be the use of floras – from delicate, pretty and quintessentially British, to more edgy blooms on dark backgrounds. So many shows, from Victoria Beckham in London, to Jason Wu over in New York and Dolce and Gabbana in Milan, used floral prints in a multitude of different ways. Here at Pamela Mann we have all so many floral tights reflecting all the styles seen on the world’s most prestigious catwalks.

Here are just a few of our favourites:

1. Soft Victorian Florals. As so beautifully seen at Alexander McQueen and Erdem. Here we saw small, ditsy flower prints on soft backgrounds, just like these Pamela Mann Autumn Flower Print tights or these pretty pink floral tights. Erdem paired this pretty print with romantic ruffles, for a similar romantic effect wear these Pamela Mann tights with lots of lace and whites and creams.

2. Florals on a black background. As seen at Jason Wu. This is a fab way to toughen up florals. Jason Wu’s red poppies look so striking against the black background and you can get the same effect with these Pamela Mann Poppy Printed tights. Team these with delicate black fabrics and leather.

3. Realistic blooms. As seen at Victoria Beckham. VB’s florals were bold and realistic, just like a very pretty painting. Get a similar effect with these Pamela Mann Hibiscus print tights play on this print with bold pinks or tone down with powder blues and navy.
